R-FARM NEW YEAR COMMERCIAL
KEY
The animation was made on glass. We used ultraviolet light and ultraviolet paint over dark blue paint on clay puppets and props.
The ultraviolet gave a spacial night filing.
We could not use green or blue key so we tried a yellow one.
PROPS
Some of the props that survived after being used for animation.
Most of the props are made from clay. Some of the background drawn on canvas.
The lights where made from soap.
We used ultraviolet paint for all the night shots.
COMPOSE
Here as shot with all the layers placed together but without compositing design yet.
When the clients saw this they where upset. They said it looks scary and sad, as if the little town is after war and asked me to go back to the way is looked in the storyboard video.
I assured the clients that all the light and color correction comes in compose and it will look like a magic holyday.
STORYBOARD VIDEO
The clients had a brief screenplay. Even though it is a simple story I had more than one storyboards because there are always different ways to play a story.
After the clients chose one of the storyboards I made a clean storyboard video.
